Finding the words to describe Kaitlin + Tanner's Leavenworth elopement this past September is tough. Honestly, finding words to describe any elopement is hard because I always leave them speechless. Completely in awe of the raw, real beauty of marriage, filled to the brim with creative energy and fully reminded that wedding celebrations should be exactly how you envision it. Whatever that looks like, period. This day encompasses all of that! From the beginning Kaitlin and Tanner knew they wanted a wedding day all to themselves. A day of honoring their marriage, an adventure and a cozy weekend tucked in the woods to celebrate. It's a complete understatement to say I loved every single second of their day!
I met these two out in a little cabin that Friday afternoon tucked in Lake Wenatchee State Park and in true Washington fashion was welcomed with rain showers. I think what I love most about their elopement is that Kaitlin and Tanner truly welcomed every minute of their day with such joy, rain or shine! We might have been soaked and frozen by the end of our time together but their genuine love outshined it all.
